Even though the immigration is the highest priority for all of us on this web site, that is not the same with Mr. President elect. He has to take care of other pressing issues like economy, Iraq war etc. first.
Therefore, I don't think it would be worthwhile to spend our resources for at least 6 more months. Once he settles down in the office and other things start moving, we can try at that time.

I got my FP notice (Code 3) and got the FP notice stamped in FEB 2008
The stamp reads
Biometrics Processing Stamp
ASC Side Code: __________XTE<location>
Biometrics QA Review by ________ (officer's signature)
Tenprints QA Reivew (officer's signature)
Does this mean that I have security clearance ?
Basically, what does the stamping mean ?

My H1B expires in Oct 2006, I applied extension for my 7th year and got approval till Oct 2007, based on pending labor with company A. I am planning to change employer soon. They are planning to file my Labour before end of 6th year. Still I am confused. My 7th year starts from Jan 2007, will this H1B be valid even if company A is withdrawing my application or even if the company closes?
I saw in the earlier posting that 8th year extension is valid even if the employer withdraws the pending LC
I heard for someone else that my 7th year H1B becomes invalid when the company A withdraws or closes.
Please advice. I really appreciate your help.

3 year h1 extension requires I140 to be approved plus non-current priority dates. You can get a copy of the approval from your attorney

I am a primary applicant of GC. My question is can I take an unpaid vacation (for upto 6 months). FYI, My PD is EB3 - Aug 2003.
Does that affect my GC status in any way?

DialogAddTo.RestoreDirectory = true;
added that line before .showDialog() and it fixed the problem...

I sent this post a few weeks ago but didn't really get a response. I think it's getting a little urgent for me so any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll try to ask more specific questions this time around.
My information:

I-140 approved
About to apply for 3 year extension of H1B after 6th year( which expires on Dec 1st 2011). Employer will apply for this extension in June 2011.
My Questions

I want to move to another company in another region in the US.
1. Should I wait for my H1B extension to get approved and then move, or can I move now with the current H1B (transferred) and then have the new company apply for my extension? Later I moved to company B. Now company B is starting my green card process.
They said I can port my priority date If I have the I-140 approval notice.
My questions are
1) Is it possible to request USCIS a duplicate copy of my I-140 approval notice
using either g-639 (FOIA) or I-824 (Action on an approved application or petition) or any other method as I have my receipt#?
2) I don't know whether or not employer A revoked my I-140. Can I used it
to port priority date even if my I-140 is revoked?

As far as I know INS cannot look into somebody's tax records without the individual's consent. I am not sure this is even a genuine post.
And of course IRS is happy take your taxes, they don't care about the immigration status.
