I just dl it and its awesome! this should be picked up by apple its super handy. sometimes i have 4 camera apps open that i am using and i hate having to find them so this is a saving grace for me.

There are really none of either game on the service. So far I find it works pretty well for the action/sports/racing games they have, but the cost is more of an issue ... and if I was going to hook something to my TV why not get a REAL console? OnLive has ~40 games right now.

I still need to call LAN lines for work and A-list for FamilyTalk is now available on the Nation 700 plan. I switched today by calling ATT but online they are not letting it go through yet. They said this will work online soon, but calling 611 they are setting it up today for me. Went from $89.99 to $69.99, saving $20 per month and keeping my A-list!
One disadvantage I think is if you are not on the 89.99 plan the primary line isn't eligible for yearly upgrade?

Apple supports both Blu-ray and HD-DVD.
In fact HD-DVD support has been in DVD Player for a while now, and DVD Studio Pro supports HD-DVD projects, but not Blu-ray.

There is only one 4G phone available (http://www.physorg.com/news/2011-03-4g-fastest-att-sprint-verizon.html), and it is a beast. You may as well carry a laptop as a Thunderbolt phone. (please don't say anything about Sprint :rolleyes:)

Sametime 7.5 just went GOLD+ for the past few weeks. Its interface looks pretty good and the ability to keep the history in a chat for INDIVIDUAL ppl that participated - for a limited time pre set by the user, or indefinately. But its STILL buggy, crashing on end on multiple machines (WinXP SP2) without a cause; that we can figure out.
BTW; I work at IBM here in Toronto for their client BNSF.
This should be interesting to see how Apple rolls with this announcement.

Given the length of the original message and the terseness of Jobs' reply, it suggests that either he doesn't give a crap, or the iPad's virtual keyboard is a bit pants to type on.
All of his email responses are terse. Verbose is a bad thing if you are an executive, and frankly, people should strive for terse in business anyway.
Reminds me of an anecdote that I read of Tim Cook. In a meeting of Apple managers, he explained that there was a problem in one of the Chinese assemblies houses. A few minutes later, he looked at the engineer/manager and asked "Why are you still here?".

All the while the real Big Brother, Google, gets surprisingly little scrutiny from the American press.
Well a huge part of that reason is Google responded fairly quickly when ask and kept a smaller file.
On the other hand Apple stayed complete silent hoping it would blow over, kept a larger file and refused to respond until it got pretty out of hand. Now they got caught and press kept on them.
Google kept the press off by responding early on with their reasons and that made them happy. Apple was silent.
